Understanding Yin & Yang for Better Sleep
Sleep is one of the clearest expressions of Yin and Yang in everyday life: daytime naturally moves toward activity, while nighttime invites us into stillness and restoration.
In this module, you’ll explore this ancient principle in a simple, practical way and begin to understand sleep as a transition from Yang into Yin. You’ll also learn to notice what may be getting in the way when your body is tired, but your system still struggles to settle.

The Five Elements and your sleep
What might your emotions have to do with the way you sleep?
This module introduces the Five Elements — Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water — and explores their relationships with different functional systems and emotional patterns in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Rather than looking at sleep as an isolated problem, you’ll begin to see how different aspects of your physical and emotional world may be connected — and why your sleep pattern may be very different from someone else’s.

Why Can’t You Sleep?
Not all sleepless nights are the same.
Some people can’t fall asleep. Some wake repeatedly. Some wake at particular times. Others sleep, but never feel deeply rested.
In this module, we’ll look beneath the symptom and explore different patterns of sleep difficulty through a Traditional Chinese Medicine lens. You’ll discover a simple way of thinking about imbalance and begin asking a more useful question than simply, “How do I make myself sleep?”

Acupressure Points& Self-Care for Better Sleep
Now we move from understanding to practice.
You’ll be introduced to selected meridians and acupressure points connected with some of the sleep patterns explored earlier in the course.
Rather than memorizing a long list of points, you’ll learn how to bring awareness to your own body and use simple self-care practices as part of your evening routine.
The goal is to give you something practical: your own hands, your own body, and a few simple tools you can return to whenever you need them.
